Josh grew up in London, Ontario, but has called Ottawa home since 2008. He completed law school at the University of Ottawa in 2016. While in law school, Josh worked at a Federal administrative tribunal and participated in a legal clinic where he helped clients resolve employment insurance disputes. He completed his articles at a labour and employment boutique in Ottawa, where he represented clients in employment, human rights, and disability insurance disputes.
At Hooper Litigation, Josh’s practice focuses primarily on employment law, professional liability, personal injury, and commercial litigation. He enjoys strategizing with clients and helping them to assess all of the dispute resolution tools at their disposal. Josh always strives to keep his clients well informed of their options, so that he can work collaboratively with them to find a solution that meets their needs.
Josh lives in Hintonburg and is actively involved in his community, including with the Hintonburg Community Association. He is currently the Chair of a volunteer organization that is advocating for an expanded public library in his neighbourhood.
Outside of the office, Josh enjoys cooking, playing hockey, and listening to more podcasts than should be possible. You may also see Josh volunteering at Ottawa Bluesfest each July.
